What this site is

pointplot is an independent guide to residential buildings in downtown Jersey City. It is not affiliated with any building, developer, management company, estate agent or with the City of Jersey City.

We try hard, and we will still be wrong sometimes

Facts here come from public records and from what people tell us. Records go stale, records contain errors, and we make mistakes of our own. Every page says when it was last updated and what we are still checking. Nothing here is a guarantee that it is accurate, current or complete.

This is not advice

Nothing on this site is legal, financial, tax, insurance or property advice. Flood zones in particular: what we show is what FEMA's maps say about the ground. It is not an assessment of a particular home, it is not an insurance quote, and it does not tell you what a lender will require. Ask the people whose job that is.

Before you sign anything

Check the things that matter with the building, the seller, your agent, your lawyer and your insurer. Use this site to know what to ask about. Do not use it as the answer.
